ThermoPulse is AvPro's newest product! The
ThermoPulse temperature sensing system utilizes the
latest in microwire technology in order to provide
real-time temperature feedback from within a
laminate interior or even repair bond line. The
microwire temperature sensors are permanently
embedded at critical zones within the repair or
laminate and wirelessly provide temperature response
data to the controller.
Implementation of the ThermoPulse system will provide
composites processing knowledge never before available.
The embedded sensors demonstrate increasing precision
with temperature; thus providing assurance that
performance-critical parts are actually reaching
required temperatures, rather than relying solely on
"scrap temperature" around the trim.
But what about
defecting my parts?!
This is a common and understood concern. However, the
ThermoPulse sensors are designed to be small enough so
that they do not cause mechanical defects or even
violate most acceptance specifications. Earlier studies
with American and European companies showed no
discernable difference between samples with sensors and
those without.
ThermoPulse is a key component within AvPro's Material
State Management (MSM™) solution for composites
processing. It can provide interior and bond line
temperatures which have never been available for
production parts. By providing this data, operators and
engineers gain critical visibility as to the effects of
a cure process on the part itself.
The goal of a ThermoPulse system used
for composites manufacturing and repair is simple:
provide increased knowledge of the actual material
state while reducing cost and increasing quality
assurance. Click here for some literature with
