AvPro controls provide a range of capabilities from simple equipment management (EMS) to our most sophisticated Material State Management system using advanced chemical and viscosity sensors with imaged validation to laboratory equipment. All Avpro controls are based on a common interface and can be upgraded as needs develop.
Material State Management (MSM) is
AvPro's approach for processing adhesives, sealants and composite materials.
It is based on a fundamental understanding of chemistry and materials science.
MSM identifies the critical material parameters with the goal of continuously improving
product quality at minimum cost.
Avpro provides a range of products and services to implement material science and to identify, manage and verify critical changes in the material during bonding, sealing and fabricating composite structures.
Each product group provides an important building block in the MSM infrastructure. Improved process effectiveness and higher confidence in the quality of the part are direct benefits of the proper application of each building block.
AvPro implementation of Material State Management is the use of computer controls to manage process. Cost reductions in computers and data acquisition equipment have made these controls available to every producer of composite structures.
The chemical kinetics, control theories and advanced sensor technologies implemented by AvPro are supported by a range of respected technical institutions. These include Wright Paterson Laboratories (QPAL), Southwest Research institute (Raman Sensors), Tinker Air Force Materials Laboratory (Composite Repair Science), Kestrel Aircraft (Composite Production), and many others.
